My parents taught my siblings and I that education is the key to success. Whether I was attending School Number One, Christopher Columbus Middle School, or Clifton High School, they made it clear academics came first.
After graduating from Montclair State University with my Bachelors degree in Political Science and Law, I worked in Congress for six years. I graduated with my Masters in Public Administration from Seton Hall University. I've always believed public service is incredibly important. I was asked to teach at Montclair State University and thereafter I joined Seton Hall University as Director of Government Relations. Now I am a Ph.D candidate in Education leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall.
I've lived in Clifton for 31 years. Soon, my wife Hannah and I will celebrate our daughter Lubna's second birthday, and, like all parents, we think about her future. A good education is something all Clifton children deserve. That's why I'm running for the Clifton Board of Education.
